Post subject: Is cross community work important?
The Department of Education is reviewing its community relations policy. Groups such as Public Achievement get funding currently to promote contact and joint work between young people from different communities and traditions. If this funding were withdrawn it would have a serious impact on our work and the work of many other organisations. What do you think about this? Is this work important? If so, why? What have you got from this work?

Wimps is a great platform for young people to get invoved with politics and be taken seriously by politicans.
Not only does it provide us with helpful interviewing practice and access to poliicans along with camera work etc it also give us confidence with what we do and in meeting new people.
As well as creating a forum for discussion in which we get to learn different opinions in a fun up to date way
