Website Users! We need you to help WIMPS.
Wednesday 02 September 09

You are invited to a special event on the 14th of September from 4pm to 6pm in Farset International ( http://www.farsetinternational.co.uk/ ) to help us to develop our evaluation tools for the WIMPS (Where Is My Public Servant?) project and website. With funding from the Youth Council, we are working to develop on-line and off-line tools that can help us to better understand how to develop and improve WIMPS as the leading e-Participation tool for young people. We are using a model known as 'Utilization Focused Evaluation' - in which stakeholders design, test and refine evaluation questions, and come up with results that are utilitarian - such as handbooks and other tools - rather than reports that are read by few and that used by even fewer.
At this short meeting, you can meet some of the young people and staff involved with WIMPS, and hear what ideas we have come up with so far. We then want to get your perspective so we can further design and refine our tools. You can also collaborate with us on-line if you would prefer using http://wimpsevaluation.wetpaint.com/. You have been invited because we believe that the site users have an important perspective and contribution to offer.
Consultant Michael Arlow has been facilitating our group. There will be some light refreshments available and time to chat informally with other participants.
