WIMPS @ 'Husting' Events for the European Elections

Chief Executive's Club at Queen's hosted a European Elections 'Hustings' event at 6.30pm on May 20th 2009 in Queen's University, chaired by BBC Northern Ireland presenter Jim Fitzpatrick. It was shown on last Sunday's Politics Show and you catch up with it on BBC Iplayer. All candidates for the European elections on the 4th of June attended the event at Queen's. We were inside at the event and also some of the crew were outside doing vox-poxes with students, you can see some of them in our WIMPScast Special on Eu Elections!

Another Panel debate took place on Wednesday May 27th at the University of Ulster Art College Connor Hall in association with Seven FM. WIMPS attended and asked some questions to the panel. The debate was recorded on the night for broadcast across Northern Media Group's six radio stations. It aired on Saturday, May 30th on Seven Fm in Ballymena, Six FM in Cookstown, Five FM in Newry, Q97 in Coleraine, Q101 in Omagh nand Q102 in Londonderry and podcast on the stations' websites.
