Interfaces

Public Achievement has been working with young people in interface communities in Belfast.  These are communities next to so-called 'Peace Walls' that divide our city.  In spite of political progress, Northern Ireland remains a deeply divided and segregated place.

Young people tell us what they think of the walls, and how these barriers impact on their lives.

Young people from Corpus Christi youth Centre in Ballymurphy take us on a tour of their area and talk about the 'peace wall' dividing their community from the adjoining protestant community.
